2010 Conference Sweetest of All

The Fourth Annual Yoga Educators Conference took place in Ydrefors from July 18-22nd,2010 and concluded with a film titled "A Journey of Joy" made by RAWA Films and directed by Dada Shankarsanananda Avadhuta and a heart warming cultural evening with star performance by Sister Jyoshna & others. The certificates of attendance were awarded to all participants. On the first day, Ac. Shambhushivananda Avt. Kulapati, Ananda Marga Gurukula gave an inaugural class on the Identity of Ananda Marga Yoga amidst beautiful sunny weather.

Ananda Marga Yoga for You

Ananda Marga Yoga System is the culmination of thousands of years of a tradition of Tantra Yoga (TY) and Ra'ja'dhira'ja Yoga (RRY) and is for all. AMY aims for the merger of unit consciousness with supreme consciousness- a stance which brings ineffable universal love. In the process of pursuing this lofty goal, AM Yoga (Tantra and  RRY as well) strive to create ideal human beings for a blissful universal family.

Individual instruction in yoga meditation is given by Ananda Marga Acaryas (Teachers of Meditation in Sahaja/Tantra/Rajadhiraja Yoga). It is called initiation.

Integral Therapy Centre

Integral Therapy Centre has found a new home in Madhu Kuinja, Ydrefors, Sweden. The centre is being currently run by Sis. Jyotirekha' from Brazil and her training colleagues. The centre offers training and services in bio-psychological counselling, nutritional guidance, yoga science, acupuncture, homeopathy, ayurveda , acupressure massage and spiritual guidance. The centre is associated with the Faculty of Yoga and Intuitional Science of the College of Neohumanist Studies and affiliated to Ananda Marga Gurukula.

Yoga Academy in Bernaul,Siberia, Russsia

A yoga training program is being established in the Yoga Academy in E.Russia. Acharya Sudhakar reports that many yoga enthusiasts are interested in enrolling in the courses and it will serve many cities due to its flexible approach of short-term intensive modules. The program will be run under the Faculty of Yoga and Intuitional Science of Ananda Marga Gurukula.

Yoga Science Academy in Italia

Under the able leadership of Bro. Kamaleshvar of North Italia, a new yoga science academy is going to be started soon. It will be under the guidance and close supervision of Ananda Marga Gurukula Camp Office in Sweden. Kamaleshvar has been teaching yoga to over 6000 students in different schools in Italia and has already trained many teachers in Ananda Marga Yoga techniques. He has also published several books in Italian on Yogic philosophy and practices. He is also a celebrated speaker at AMAYE annual workshops. A similar institution already operating successfully in Singapore.

Yoga Training for Medical Professionals

Dr. Sauli Shantatman Siekkinen in Finland is preparing to offer a special course on "Yoga Science for the medical professionals" (including nurses,osteopaths,physio therapists etc). A basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology is a compulsory requirement to enroll in this course. Dr. Siekkinen is also hoping to establish a cooperative hospital of alternative medicine in order to complement the already established medical services in his country.
