Preamble

This Code of Conduct is a commonly agreed declaration of acceptable,ethical, and professional behavior by which all Registered AM Yoga Instructors (RYI), Registered Yoga Experienced/Advanced Instructors (RYAI), Yoga-Tattvikas, Yoga-Aca'rya's (Junior & Senior) and Registered AM Yoga Centres (RYC) agree to conduct their teaching.

Code Of Conduct

1. Strict adherence to respective conduct rules as laid down by Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji for Ananda Margiis, Tattvikas, Aca'rya's and Avadhutas (please consult Ananda Marga Carya Carya and other relevant guidebooks for further information).
2. Remembrance and Following the Oaths taken at the time of initiations or upon entrance into designated roles.
3. Uphold the integrity of vocation by conducting oneself in a professional and conscientious manner.
4. Respect and honor the students and their unique needs.
5. Create and maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the practice of yoga and other spiritual practises.
6. Acknowledge the limitations of one's skills and where appropriate , refer students to seek alternative instruction,advice,treatment, or direction.
7. Respect the rights,dignity, and privacy of all students.
8. Follow all governmental and organizational requirements and norms as they pertain to running of yoga centres and institutes.

Guidelines for Accreditation of Yoga Teacher Education Programs 1. An approved curriculum that meets minimum standards and more; 2. Properly qualified teacher(s); 3. Proper facilities for training; 4. Requisite number of students; 5. Examination & assessment system; 6. Regular inspections system; 7. Supervising ac’arya(s); 8. Membership of AMAYE; 9. Continuing education requirements; 10. Willingness to strictly adhere to specified code of conduct.
