Module 2: Yoga Anatomy, Physiology & Bio Psychology

Self Study & Assignments:

  1. What concepts are intrinsic or unique to yogic path, its philosophy, practices and tradition?
  2. How has yoga evolved over time?
  3. What elements of yoga are also found in other traditions and belief systems?
  4. In what way is Ananda Marga's interpretation of yogic concepts different or identical to what others are saying or doing?
  5. Come up with 10 test questions on each of the first two modules.
  6. Prepare a 3-10 pages write-up on any aspects of the topics covered by Module 1 .
  7. Prepare your own time line that shows evolution of yogic thought in relation to other belief systems.
  8. Inspirational anecdotes, stories and examples
  9. Survey of current yogic landscape.
  10. What aspects of physical anatomy & physiology are relevant for yoga teachers to be fully conversant? What are the basics of human physiology and its different systems?
