Ra'ja'dhira'ja Yoga is practised in order to become an ideal human being. While the aim of RRY is , no doubt, an alround emanicipation, the progress toward the goal is indicated by the manifestation of certain essential qualities in a yoga aspirant. The sixteen qualities are also the by-product of adherence to the 16 points or yogic practices as enunciated by Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiiji.

The 16 qualities may be classified in five categories:

(A) 1.Vidvata' (knowledgeable) 2.Buddhimata' (practical intelligence) 3.Bodha-prajina' (intuitional wisdom)

(B) 4.Sa'dhuta' (saintliness) 5.Saralata' (simplicity) 6.Rjuta' (straightforwardliness) 7.Tejasvita' (spiritual-effulgence)

(C) 8.Agraga'mita' (dynamicity, moving forward) 9.Pragatishiilata' (progressiveness) 10.Seva-Tyaga Tatparta' (service and sacrificing nature)

(D) 11.Drd'ata (steadfastness, firmness, assertiveness) 12.Viirya' (courage, strength, commanding, fighting spirit esp. against dogma and injustices ) 13. Manovijinanika (psychological approach)

(E) 14.Prerana-shiilata' (inspirational personality) 15.Hansa-mukha vyavha'ra (sweet & jolly temperament) 16.Shrii (attractive stamina,charm)

RRY strives to cultivate these qualities which ultimately spring forth from deeper spiritual attainments. Sadvipras ( Leaders) are those who are loved by all for their possession of above qualities. In a nutshell, RRY is the path to become competent, virtuous, strong, trustworthy and likeable.
